Mori Terms & Conditions

Last updated: May 7, 2026

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and MORI INNOVATION LIMITED, a company incorporated in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China ("Mori", "we", "us", or "our"). To use Mori and its services, please read and understand these Terms. By registering, logging in, placing an order, or otherwise using Mori, you agree to these Terms. If you are under 18, please use the service with the consent of a parent or guardian.

1. Service

1.1 Mori is an online design and media platform. We provide images, templates, posters, logos, video tools, background removal, collage, and related digital design services.

1.2 The service is provided by MORI INNOVATION LIMITED (registered in Hong Kong SAR) and its affiliates. "User" or "you" means any natural person, legal entity, or organization that registers, logs in, or uses Mori.

1.3 Mori is available on iOS, Android, web, and mini-programs.

1.4 You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the software. All other rights remain with Mori.

2. Account

2.1 Registration

You must provide accurate information or sign in via a supported third-party account. One user may only have one account per phone or third-party identity. You are responsible for the accuracy of your data. Mori may suspend or terminate accounts for false, illegal, or inappropriate information.

2.2 Security

You are responsible for all activity under your account and password. Keep them confidential. Notify Mori of any unauthorized use. Mori is not liable for losses from your failure to protect your credentials.

3. Privacy & Authorization

Mori collects, uses, stores, and shares your information as set out in these Terms and the Privacy Policy (e.g. account data, design history). We will not disclose your personal information to third parties without your consent, except as required by law or the Privacy Policy. You must provide truthful identity information. We use security measures to protect your data. We take minors' privacy seriously; minors should use the service with guardian consent.

4. Acceptable Use

4.1 Content

You are responsible for the legality of content you publish. Obtain any required rights before posting. You must not use Mori to create, copy, or distribute content that is illegal, harmful, infringing, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise prohibited by law or Mori's policies. Do not use national symbols, official names, or restricted terms in ads or trademarks without authorization. Do not misuse templates containing portraits. Do not register Mori's images, templates, or logos as your own trademarks or IP without Mori's written permission.

4.2 Software Use

Use Mori only as permitted. Content is for your personal use; do not transfer your rights. You must not: use unauthorized third-party tools to access the service; reverse-engineer or copy the software; intercept or misuse others' data; modify or bypass the software; interfere with Mori's systems. Mori may terminate your access for violations.

4.3 Resale

Reselling accounts, templates, or paid design services on other platforms is prohibited. Mori may revoke membership, remove content, or ban accounts and may seek damages.

5. Pricing, Currency & Payment

5.1 Prices and currency. Prices for templates, assets, VIP plans, and other digital products are displayed at checkout. Mori's default reference currency is USD — the Single Purchase is USD 3.99 and the Annual Membership is USD 9.99 / year at the US App Store. Apple App Store and Google Play map this USD reference price to the equivalent regional price tier in every other supported country, so users in different regions are charged in their own local currency (for example, S$ 5.98 / S$ 14.98 in Singapore, HKD 30 / HKD 78 in Hong Kong, IDR 65,000 / IDR 159,000 in Indonesia, and the equivalent tier in EUR, GBP, CAD, AUD, JPY and other supported regions). The currency, total amount, and any applicable taxes or fees are shown on the order confirmation page before you authorize payment. The full pricing model and the indicative regional equivalents are published on the Pricing page.

5.2 Order confirmation. After you complete an order, the confirmation page and/or your account "Orders" section will show the product name, quantity, total amount, currency, and (where applicable) taxes or fees. Mori sells digital goods only — no physical shipment is involved, and no shipping fees apply.

5.3 Payment methods. Mori accepts payment through authorized third-party payment processors. By submitting payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method and you authorize Mori (or its processor) to charge the order total to that method.

5.4 Subscriptions and auto-renewal. Where you subscribe to a recurring plan (e.g. Mori VIP), the plan will renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle at the then-current price unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel auto-renewal at any time from "My – Settings – Subscription" inside the Mori app or by contacting hello@mori.fyi. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.

5.5 Taxes. You are responsible for any taxes, duties, or levies imposed by the jurisdiction in which you reside, unless Mori is required by law to collect them on your behalf, in which case the applicable amount will be shown at checkout.

6. Refunds and Returns

Refund eligibility, the refund window, and the request process are set out in the Refund & Return Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In summary, you may request a full refund within 7 days of purchase if the digital item has not been used. Because Mori sells digital goods only, no physical return shipment is required.

7. Breach

Mori may delete content, restrict or ban accounts, and report illegal activity. You are liable for your breaches. If your content infringes third-party rights, Mori may remove it on notice; you bear full responsibility and must indemnify Mori for any losses.

8. Suspension and Termination

Mori may modify or discontinue the service at any time. If you breach these Terms, Mori may suspend or terminate your access. You may stop using the service or request account deletion; deletion will remove your data and end the agreement (your indemnity obligations survive).

9. Third-Party Services

Use of third-party products or services within Mori is subject to their terms. Mori is not responsible for third-party content or disputes. Mori does not guarantee the security or accuracy of third-party integrations.

10. Advertising

Mori may show ads. Your dealings with advertisers are between you and them. Mori is not liable for losses from such transactions unless required by law.

11. Disclaimers

Mori does not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for your purposes. Use caution with financial or promotional information. Mori is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. In case of force majeure (e.g. natural disaster, government action, hacking), Mori will try to restore service but is not liable for resulting losses. Mori does not guarantee detection of all violations. You use the service at your own risk. Mori may suspend the service for maintenance without notice. Mori's enforcement does not guarantee consistency with court or regulatory decisions.

12. Limitation of Liability

If you use content as permitted and are accused of infringement, Mori may provide assistance. Mori's maximum liability for content-related claims is ten (10) times the fees you paid to Mori (e.g. membership), to the extent permitted by law. This cap does not apply if you continue using content after notice of a claim. You are responsible for uses beyond these Terms or Mori's authorization.

13. Intellectual Property

Mori owns all IP in the software and service. You may not use, assign, or license such IP without Mori's written consent. Content you create remains yours (or the original rights holder's) if lawfully authorized. You grant Mori a free, non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, store, and manage your user content as needed to provide, improve, and promote the service, in line with the Privacy Policy.

14. Complaints

Report infringing content to hello@mori.fyi with preliminary evidence. If your content is reported, you may submit a counter-notice and proof. Mori may take action without prior notice to stop violations.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

15.1 Governing law. These Terms and any non-contractual obligations arising out of or in connection with them are governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

15.2 Jurisdiction. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms, including the validity, interpretation, performance, breach, or termination thereof, shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. You and Mori each waive any objection to such jurisdiction or venue.

16. General

Using Mori means you accept these Terms.

Mori may update these Terms and will publish changes. Continued use means acceptance. Related policies (e.g. Privacy Policy, Refund & Return Policy) form part of these Terms.

New features are subject to these Terms. Headings are for convenience only. Mori may notify you via in-app notice, email, SMS, or post; notice is deemed given on send. These Terms may be accepted by electronic or written signature; both have the same effect.
